1. This forum is for discussion of the U.S. Army in WWII . All other posts will be deleted
2. Why was my thread deleted/locked? - Seems to be the most asked question on this forum. Entire threads and/or posts are subject to editing, locking, moving, and/or deletion at any time, at the discretion of the MP's. Their decisions are final and non-negotiable. They are not required to give reasons as to why they deleted a post or thread. I trust their decisions, therefore, we do not discuss what we delete and why. So I am giving fair warning right now - If you send me or any staff member a PM asking why your post, reply, thread was deleted, it may/will be ignored.
In addition, do not post or make comments about deleted posts. Such posts will be deleted, and those who repeatedly bring it up are subject to suspension.
3. Most curse words have been censored because they are not necessary to get your point across. Only a few words have not, because they are mild and are included in some famous speeches or phrases used in WWII.
4. This should be a place of learning, not fighting. Be courteous to others and be willing to be both the "teacher" and the "student". We're all friends here and we can benefit from each other's knowledge. Do not harass other members thru PM. Another thing, remember that WWII is over. There are members from various countries here, so treat them with respect.
5. This is not a place for members to "gang up" on other sites. We will not tolerate any damaging remarks to other websites.
6. Opinions are welcomed here, as long as they are quoted in a respective manner. If you tell me that a decision to change the forum "really sucked a big one", or was "asinine", then you can expect suspension. It is possible to express your opinion in a polite manner.
Elitism of anykind will not be tolerated on this forum. The elitist attitude often causes conflict between members which swiftly leads to trouble. IE: No Airborne/Infantry/SS/Polish, etc bashing will be tolerated. And blatant overglorification of one particular unit also often leads to conflict, this needs to be avoided as well.
7. Do not post the same topic more than once. Do not use one word replies for one post. This is the same thing as SPAM and it will not be tolerated here.
8. Do not use racist remarks or names in any postings here. Today is a different time than that of WWII. There are members of all races on this forum. They will be respected.
9. Discussion of regional & organizational politics is forbidden here. Please handle such discussions elsewhere. This forum is not a place to discuss the problems within organizations. The staff is firm on this issue. Violators will be suspended. Repeat violators may be banned.
10. Any person making a statement to ask other members to say it to their face, meet them at an event for confrontation, or percieved physical threats, will be suspended for 2 weeks from the forum.
Upon any recurring action, the individual will be banned from Forum use.
11. In accordance with Proboard's rules, the entire forum must be in English.
12. Do not create an offensive member name. Offenders will either have their names edited or their account deleted.
13. Bashing of staff members (name calling, F**k you ect...) will be stricktly prohibited. Offenders will be banned for 2 days.
Also, any profiles that are not used (i.e. logged on to) for 6 months will be deleted.
Thank you,
The Staff
