Its amazing over here in Europe there are giant underground caverns that store all the Army surplus imaginable in storage and every so often there is 1 opened and all the collecters and companys get the stuff and sell it.

There's a lot here still stashed.. Here in Columbus, we have DCSC which still has warehouses of surplus the sometimes sell off. They had several sets of WW1 era cavalry tacking and swords in storage a few years back. Then there's the old Rockwell/North American/ Curtiss-Wright hangers that they clean every now and then.. DCSC has a couple uderground garages that are walled in that was some jeeps, halftracks, and shermans in them. Same thing out west with some of the old mines in Nevada. The middle east was good too.. Isreal still had a few US and german halftracks in use in 91. We saw crates of k98 mausers left over from the war. There was some stuff in market too.. we left lots there in WW2. A lot in the Pacific on islands too in caves and old bunkers. John's right tho. Greece had tons as did the French(both lend-lease and pilfered). China and Vietnam had a lot sent to them during the war. Get it when you can!!! Even when it comes back around in mass qauntities, the price has gone up.. Buy what you can now as cheap as you can and SIT ON IT!!! The value just rises! Fins.
