My neighbor is a wwii vet. I showed him my jeep this weekend, and he told me once while in the battle of the bulge that he was driving with his sargent at night with the windsheld down and no headlights on. He told his sarg to turn on his lights. He said " I can see just fine". Next thing he knew he was in the back set of the jeep.
He hit a branch.

Thats funny! My pap was with his buddy taking his buddies brother back to his unit as he jsut spent theh day visiting and they came atound a turn and the place where they weigh semi trucks was ahead and the scales were gone leaving just the pit. Pap said "hold it here she goes" The left side of the Jeep went in the Right didnt the result was of expected the Jeep rolled Pap bent the windsheild adjusting arm up through the roof. His buddy was in the back window and his brother was in the road they all lived Pap loved that story Mitch
